We have just passed the halfway mark of the term, and students are now well settled and making great use of the zones within the Learning Centre. Both students and staff are to be congratulated on how well the LC is operating.

A friendly reminder that your child’s classroom or homeroom teacher should be your first point of contact for any concerns. If you do not feel comfortable contacting the teacher directly, please feel free to reach out to me. When contacting teachers, please use email or the school phone rather than personal devices.

We had so much fun using the maths ball to review and consolidate our understanding of fractions and decimals! Students were fully engaged, collaborating, thinking quickly, and applying their knowledge in a hands‑on and active way.

Here he is working through some tricky addition and subtraction questions with great focus and determination. We love seeing his confidence grow as he tackles new challenges!

This term, Primary has been focusing on number, data, fractions, and decimals. This week, we have been consolidating our knowledge and understanding of fractions and how to position them on a number line. Through this hands‑on activity, students were able to clearly see equivalent fractions and develop a stronger sense of what smaller and larger fractions look like on a number line.

Primary students had a wonderful week documenting the adventures of a plush toy.
The presentations were of such high quality, and the laughter and joy this activity brought to everyone involved was truly a delight to witness. We all hope that you enjoy viewing them too!

The Primary Library is now up and running!

Our first day of borrowing took place this week, and as you can see from the big smiles, it was a wonderful success. All students thoroughly enjoyed choosing their books, and they are already counting down the days until next Friday when they can do it all again.

This term in Cross-Curricular, students have been learning about Parliament.

As part of their learning, students explored the three levels of government - Local, State, and Federal - and demonstrated their understanding by designing their own triarama models.

These 3‑D displays helped students visually represent each level of government and the responsibilities they hold. The creativity and thoughtfulness in their work has been fantastic to see, and the triaramas have made the learning come to life in a hands‑on way.

At OneSchool Global AU, all Year 10 students complete the Certificate III in Business as part of their curriculum. This qualification equips students with practical skills in administration, communication, and workplace technology - essential tools for success in senior study, part-time work, and future careers.

Completing the Certificate III in Business helps students develop confidence, organisation, and a professional mindset. It provides a real-world context for learning and gives every student a head start in understanding the business world.

We are proud to offer this program as a core part of Year 10, ensuring all students gain these valuable skills and are prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond. Students who complete all requirements will be awarded the national qualification - Certificate III in Business. Students who are only able to complete part of the qualification will still receive a statement of attainment, providing credit for the units they do achieve.

Your encouragement at home can make a real difference. We encourage parents to support their young person by discussing their learning, celebrating achievements, and encouraging them to apply the skills they are developing. Together, we can help every student succeed and make the most of this valuable qualification.
