Update From Mr James Easthope
Dear Campus Community,
As we approach the final weeks of Term 2, I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of our students throughout what has been a particularly busy and productive period of learning.
This week marked our examination period, with exams running from Tuesday through to Friday. I have been incredibly impressed by the maturity, commitment and determination displayed by our students throughout this process. Across the campus, students embraced the challenge of preparing for their exams, dedicating time to revision, seeking clarification when needed, and supporting one another in their learning. It has been particularly pleasing to see students collaborating to deepen their understanding and working together to achieve success.
Our Learning to Learn (L2L) framework and self-directed learning model have been on full display this week. Students have demonstrated increasing independence in managing their study schedules, prioritising assessment preparation, and taking ownership of their learning. These are important life-long skills that will continue to serve them well beyond their schooling years, and it has been rewarding to see the growth many students have made in this area throughout the term.
As we look ahead to the conclusion of Term 2, excitement is beginning to build for our end-of-term celebration. On the final day of term, Friday 3 July, we will be heading to Queens Park for a day of fun, connection and friendly competition. Students will be placed into teams and will compete in our much-anticipated Silly Olympics, a series of entertaining challenges designed to promote teamwork, school spirit and plenty of laughter. We would love to see families join us throughout the day and be part of the festivities as we celebrate another successful term together as a campus community.
I would also like to provide an update on our building project, which continues to progress well. We are currently completing the final refinements to the design and preparing documentation for council submission.
This is a significant milestone in the project and brings us one step closer to seeing our vision become a reality. Following council approval, we will move into the demolition phase before commencing construction of our new facilities.

This project represents an exciting chapter in the future of our campus, and I know our students, staff and families are eager to see the development take shape. The rendered images included provide an exciting glimpse of what is to come.
As we enter the final stretch of the term, I encourage all students to maintain their focus and continue demonstrating the same dedication and commitment they have shown throughout the examination period. There is much to celebrate, much to look forward to, and every reason to be proud of what we are achieving together as a school community.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our campus. I look forward to finishing the term strongly and celebrating our successes with students and families over the coming weeks.
Warm regards,
James
Campus Principal
