GERMAN
In Primary German, students will be learning how do discuss family members. For their assessment task, students will need to bring in a photo of their family. This will help them answer questions about who is in their family in German in their interview assessment task.
Can you please assist your child to find a family photo that includes at least themselves, siblings, parents and also grandparents if possible. Cousins, aunts, uncles are also welcome to be in the photo, however it is not essential.
The photo will need to be scanned at school, therefore it will need to be out of a frame. If you prefer, you can email the photo to me - Margot.benson@au.oneschoolglobal.com
I have asked students to bring in the photo next lesson - Tue 18th Aug.
If you have any questions or concerns about this task, please let me know.
Kind regards
Margot Benson

CREATIVE ARTS
Cowra students recently completed a creative bee-themed craft activity, designing a colourful honeycomb display using paddle pop sticks, bubble wrap, paper and bee decorations. This hands-on task encouraged students to develop their fine motor skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities while learning about the important role bees play in our environment.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
The OSG Heart Heroes at both campuses are showing impressive results with skipping and fundraising and are helping in the fight against heart disease.

School Principal's Day in Cowra
On Wednesday, 5th August, Cowra staff and students joined together to celebrate School Principal’s Day and to show appreciation to Mr Dawes for his calm leadership, steady support and everything he does to make this school a success. School captains, Laela Wallace and Evarne Teiffel presented Mr Dawes with a box of chocolates, a card and a gift jar with Thank You messages and Inspirational Quotes from all the students.
Jump Rope for Heart
This term, Primary students are participating in the Jump Rope for Heart program to promote healthier hearts and raise money for The Heart Foundation. Our fundraising efforts are off to an amazing start and we have absolutely smashed every goal we have set. Our current fundraising goal is $20,000 and we are not far off. A big THANK YOU to those who have already donated.
If you would like to show your support, donations can be made by an individual student's donation link (which will help the student earn donation prizes). Alternatively, you can donate to the school via the button below.
Attracting great teachers to OSG - 'Experience the joy of teaching' campaign launched
We are pleased to share with parents and families, the launch of OSG's Experience the Joy of Teaching campaign, which aims to tell the OSG story and attract great teachers to our campuses across the globe.
The campaign features a television commercial style film that was filmed at our Sydney campus in the April school holidays.
The Experience the Joy of Teaching theme was inspired directly by feedback from OSG teachers, many of whom say that joining OneSchool Global helped them reconnect with what inspired them to become teachers in the first place: focusing on teaching and learning and helping students thrive.
The campaign will be used internationally across digital, social media and other advertising channels to introduce prospective teachers to the opportunities available at OneSchool Global.
More than a recruitment campaign, it is a celebration of the students, families and staff that make OSG such a special place to learn and teach.
The film has been tailored to each region with French, Argentinian-Spanish and German language versions, as well as Australian, New Zealand, British and North American voiceovers. You can view the various international versions of the film here.
You can also visit the Experience the Joy of Teaching page on our website here: www.oneschoolglobal.com/joy
How can parents and families support this campaign? If you don't already, please follow OSG on LinkedIn and YouTube, and like and share videos and posts to your networks. If you directly know a teacher that may be interested in learning more about OSG, please share the webpage with them also.
