Hello Parents,

What a fantastic and eventful term it has been!

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all our students, parents and staff for their contributions to another successful term at Northam Campus. Throughout the examination period, our students demonstrated dedication, resilience and a strong commitment to achieving their personal best. I am incredibly proud of the effort shown by students across both Primary and Secondary.

We are also delighted to recognise the outstanding achievements of our high-performing students during Exam Week. Their hard work and determination are commendable, and they should be very proud of their accomplishments.

As we conclude Term 2, I wish all students and families a safe, relaxing and enjoyable holiday break. I look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 3, refreshed, motivated and ready for another great term of learning and growth.

On Wednesday 1 July, our primary students enjoyed one of the highlights of their music program for the term. They took part in a show-and-tell session, where many proudly demonstrated their developing skills on the keyboard.

Dulcie and Zarni were standout performers, confidently sharing their pieces. They were even able to repeat their performance later for parents and visitors.

The afternoon finished with a choir presentation in front of family and guests. The students performed a selection of songs, including some with actions, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere.

It was a fantastic event that everyone enjoyed. We are already looking forward to the next one!

This term, students in each class had the opportunity to take part in our end‑of‑term Music Show and Tell, a special moment where learners share solo pieces they’ve been practicing independently.

Each performer demonstrated creativity, courage, and a growing love for music. It was wonderful to see students expressing themselves and showcasing the skills they’ve developed throughout the term.

We began our assembly with a showcase from our Music Show and Tell soloists. One student from each class was selected to present a piece they had been practising independently. Each performer demonstrated wonderful confidence, creativity, and musical curiosity, setting a beautiful tone for the afternoon.

Following the solo items, our choir students took the stage. Throughout the semester, they have been developing their ensemble singing skills—learning to blend, listen, and support one another as a musical team. They also worked on singing in harmony and performing in a round. Their hard work culminated in a performance of six songs, delivered with enthusiasm and teamwork.

It was a wonderful celebration of their progress and musical growth, and we are incredibly proud of all our performers.

Year 8 students had fun making smoothies and cooking pancakes to use up some of the left-over ingredients from the various Food Tech Practicals this term.

The year 7 students iced their sweet muffins and warmed their savoury muffins that they have been cooking over this term and served them to the Primary students as a special afternoon treat this week.

Congratulations to all our students on a successful event today.
