Thank you for all of your support during Term 1.

Northam students have done extremely well over what has proven to be a very busy 10 weeks.

While they enjoy their three-week break, I would like to ask of the parents to please complete a small homework task for me. Throughout the last few years we have run a number of Webinars covering a wide variety of feedback areas. I would like to continue doing these sessions, but I thought it would be valuable to obtain some feedback of my own.

On Tuesday we said goodbye to Mrs Page.

We wish her all the very best and hope to see her back at our Campus for relief.

Congratulations to the following students who received awards at our end of term assembly.

Students have been enthusiastically engaging with Scratch‑based coding activities throughout the term and have now begun their Technologies challenge using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime.

They are building on their coding skills as they learn to program an electric car to complete a range of tasks. Next term, their learning journey will progress to the Final Design Challenge, where students will collaborate in teams to solve a real‑world problem using their LEGO SPIKE Prime kits.

Our Year 3 and 4 musicians had their own special moment this week with a dedicated Music Show & Tell, where each student had the chance to share a piece they’ve been practising at home.

Students performed individually, stepping up to the keyboard with confidence and focus, and it was wonderful to see how much progress they’ve made over the term.

From simple melodies to more adventurous pieces, every performance reflected careful practice, growing musical understanding, and the courage to play for an audience.

The atmosphere was warm and supportive, and the students should feel incredibly proud of what they achieved. It was a lovely celebration of their developing skills and enthusiasm.

Secondary Athletics Carnival:

On Friday 20th March, students filled the WA Athletics Stadium with colour, energy, and outstanding house spirit as they took part in a full day of field events, races, and team games under the challenging hot weather.

Despite the heat, competitors demonstrated excellent resilience, pushing through every event with determination and enthusiasm, proudly representing their houses.

The vibrant cheering from the sidelines was boosted by excellent parent support, creating an uplifting atmosphere throughout the carnival.

A sincere thank‑you goes to our dedicated staff, whose hard work and organisation ensured the day ran smoothly and allowed our students to shine both in performance and house pride.

The year 8 Food Technology students cooked a very health Spaghetti Bolognaise with lentils and vegetables for their practical in week 10. They filled the kitchen with delicious smells.

The year 9 Food Technology students have been creating a Gourmet food hamper this term.

The theme behind the hamper is Food Preservation so students have been creating delicious foods such as picked vegetables, cordials and dehydrated fruits.

Pickled cauliflower and baby cucumbers and Lemon and Raspberry Cordial

Dehydrated mango and blueberries and dehydrated grapes and apples.

On 22 May, all students at OneSchool Global will take part in Mission Nutrition, a full day wellbeing event delivered across all campuses worldwide.

Mission Nutrition helps students understand how food and hydration support energy, focus, health, and learning.

The day is interactive and age appropriate, with students working through guided activities led by their teachers. This is not a normal school day.

Students will take part in hands on learning designed to build practical skills they can use at school and at home.

To introduce the event and build excitement, we invite families to watch a short teaser video.
