Update from the Campus Principal

Hi all,

I hope this message finds you well as we continue to move through another productive and engaging term at our Nathalia Campus. Last week we farewelled Lincoln with a range of great speeches and gifts. We wish him all the best in the next chapter of his OSG journey at Brisbane Campus. I began as Acting Nathalia Campus Principal on Monday and it has been a pleasure stepping into the role at our campus and I am truly grateful to be leading the campus. I am also grateful to have such a supportive, hard working SLT and CA to assist me!

This week Nermina had her last day working for OneSchool Global. Nermina has been the face of our campus for the last 4 years and has been a constant friendly, supportive member of staff. We thank her for her years of service at OSG Nathalia Campus and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

We have several events coming up that we are asking for community member involvement. I encourage families to get involved as much as possible. We have our Athletics Day in Swan Hill on Friday March 27th that we require volunteers for, as well as our Cultural Crossroads EOT event on Thursday April 2nd. The EOT event already has a significant amount of community volunteers, and I thank all volunteers for their time (and patience) in supporting the event. We would love to have as many people as possible at our EOT event, so please spread the word through the community.

Thank you for your continued support of our campus. I look forward to working alongside you as we maintain a high achieving learning environment for all students.

Warm regards,
Darren Burn
Acting Nathalia Campus Principal

Certificate III in Business: A Key Part of Year 10 at OSG

At OneSchool Global AU, all Year 10 students complete the Certificate III in Business as part of their curriculum. This qualification equips students with practical skills in administration, communication, and workplace technology - essential tools for success in senior study, part-time work, and future careers.

Completing the Certificate III in Business helps students develop confidence, organisation, and a professional mindset. It provides a real-world context for learning and gives every student a head start in understanding the business world.

We are proud to offer this program as a core part of Year 10, ensuring all students gain these valuable skills and are prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond. Students who complete all requirements will be awarded the national qualification - Certificate III in Business. Students who are only able to complete part of the qualification will still receive a statement of attainment, providing credit for the units they do achieve.

Your encouragement at home can make a real difference. We encourage parents to support their young person by discussing their learning, celebrating achievements, and encouraging them to apply the skills they are developing. Together, we can help every student succeed and make the most of this valuable qualification.
