Strengthening safety across our global bus network - global webinar screening next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, OneSchool Global will launch Precious Cargo, a new global safety campaign for all volunteer bus drivers across our school. This campaign centres on a powerful safety film that highlights the real risks our drivers face every day - fatigue, distractions, speed, seatbelts, and substances. The film will be screened via a global webinar at 7.30pm local time.

The film is confronting by design and reinforces the non‑negotiable expectations we hold for every driver, in every region. You can watch a preview of the film here.

We encourage all households to register for this important global webinar screening at 7:30pm Tuesday 24 March.

The webinar is mandatory viewing for all OSG bus drivers.

PRIMARY ART

Primary completed their final DOT ART lesson for their first assignment. It has been wonderful to observe their development in their skill building, with an understanding of Indigenous Symbolism.

They have gained a real appreciation for the time, care and attention required to produce authentic DOT ART paintings.

Exploring Coding with Our New LEGO® SPIKE™ Kits

This term, our primary students have been building their coding confidence as we explore digital technologies in the classroom. Today was especially exciting as we introduced our brand‑new LEGO® SPIKE™ kits!

Students jumped straight into hands‑on learning, working together to build simple models and bring them to life through block‑based coding. They experimented with motors, sensors, and movement, discovering how coding can control real‑world actions in a fun and engaging way.

It was wonderful to see the curiosity, problem‑solving, and teamwork happening around the room as students tested their programs, refined their ideas, and celebrated their successes. Today’s session was a fantastic first step in our coding journey with LEGO® SPIKE™, and we’re excited for all the learning and creativity still to come.

Secondary spotlight

YR 8 SCIENCE

This week we year 8's conducted the elephant toothpaste experiment. It was a fun experiment where we mixed hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and yeast, and it caused a chemical reaction that made foam rise up out of the cylinder. It was very pink and got all over our hands.
