OSG Persona Program 2026

The 2026 Persona Program, OneSchool Global’s annual feedback and development program, will kick off in July across OSG’s Southern Hemisphere campuses.

The Persona Program is an important activity on the OSG calendar supporting staff to reflect on their practice, build on strengths and continue to grow.

The program runs across three phases:

Phase 1: Feedback 20 - 31 July 2026

Phase 2: Development & Goal Setting 17 August - 11 September 2026

Phase 3: Growth 14 September - end October 2026

Parents are an important part of this program. If selected to participate to share your feedback, you will receive an email on 20 July from Qualtrics asking you to complete a short questionnaire on your Campus Principal, teachers or other team members of the campus. All responses are confidential and reviewed alongside other feedback to ensure balance and fairness.

The below videos share some more information on the program, including information to be shared with your child/ren.

We kindly request that you complete the questionnaire(s) by 31 July 2026.

Parent Teacher Interviews Term 3

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Semester Two Parent–Teacher Interviews, which will be held over two days similar to Semester One:

Wednesday 29th July

Face to Face interviews: 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm

Thursday 30th July

Secondary – Online only: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Primary – Face to Face or Online: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

These interviews provide an important opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, and areas for development with their teachers. Your participation is vital to your child’s learning, and we strongly encourage all families to attend.

Please find key information below:

It is an expectation that students attend the interviews with you, as hearing feedback directly supports their learning, reflection, and goal setting. Students should attend interviews in full school uniform.

Appointments can be booked via the Parent Portal on Sentral.

Bookings will open on Monday, 20th July and will close on Monday, 27th July at 4:00 pm.

If you have multiple children with the same teacher, please ensure you make separate bookings for each child.

If you are unable to secure a suitable time or require a longer conversation, don't hesitate to get in touch with your campus, and we will be happy to arrange an alternative meeting.

Thursday, 30th July is a pupil free day, allowing families the flexibility to attend scheduled interviews throughout the day.

Please click on the below; you will find instructions on how to make your bookings. If you experience any difficulties or need assistance, please reach out to your campus team.

We look forward to partnering with you and continuing to support your child’s success.

Any other concerns, as always, feel free to reach out to myself.

Stage 2 and 3 Food Technology Fun

Stage 2 and Stage 3 students recently enjoyed a hands-on Food Technology session in the kitchen as part of their current food technology assignment. The Big Question for this assignment is: “How can we use our senses and healthy eating guidelines to make smart food choices and delicious meals?”

Students explored a variety of fresh fruits, using their five senses—sight, smell, touch, taste, and even sound—to describe and compare different textures, flavours, and colours.

Applying their knowledge, students then designed and created their own fruit kebabs, carefully selecting combinations to suit their preferences. To enhance both texture and flavour, they were also offered Greek yoghurt and granola, which added a delicious contrast to their creations.

It was wonderful to see students engaged, experimenting confidently, and making thoughtful choices about food. This practical experience supported their understanding of healthy eating while encouraging creativity and independence in the kitchen.

HMS Excursion - Wednesday, 1 July

The HMS excursion to PhysXRehab was a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experience!

We met with students from all classes and most campuses across the state for the day and joined them in firsthand experiences of cutting-edge technology. While rotating between sessions in our classes, we trialed internal/external range of motion, counter movement jump plates, and speed gates.

Students also participated in practical drills such as ball throwing, 20m sprints and counter movement jumps to embed the experience and help relate the technology and biomechanical information to real life scenarios. Videos were taken of top performing students and put into slow motion so we could observe the biomechanic errors and techniques, and digital technology such as VueMotion, which is the same process used by the centres professional clients.

It was a great experience and opportunity to see physical demonstrations relevant to the content we are studying, and to spend time with our respective classes!

Thank you, also, to our drivers!

Year 7 Muffin Stall

Mrs Tabner and the Yr 7’s designed a muffin day including all our practical muffins we have made throughout the term.

We made fruit muffins, choc chip muffins, cinnamon muffins, peach crumble muffins and lots more. It was very fun and it helped us improve our skills in working together and learning to be a bit more organized.

For our stall we decided to get people to bring most things that we needed from home like the trays and napkins, also we added a gold coin donation to help save money for new ovens; the current ones are now showing their age!

Overall, the stall was very fun and a big thanks to Mrs Tabner for organizing it.

Aleska Trimmer - Year 7
