Dalwallinu Campus Update
It has been wonderful to welcome all students back to school. It has been especially pleasing to see the majority arriving in the correct uniform and, most importantly, bringing their smiling faces and positive energy to each day. Students have settled in quickly and have shown great adaptability in adjusting to our temporary school facilities—something we are incredibly proud of.
A huge thank you to our Board members and parents who supported the move from the Rec Centre to our new temporary school site. It was a significant undertaking, not without its challenges, and we are truly grateful for the time, effort, and community spirit shown throughout the process.
We look forward to continuing this positive momentum and are excited to welcome all mothers, grandmothers, and aunts on Monday 11th May @ 10:40 - 11:25 for our Mother’s Day Morning Tea. It will be a lovely opportunity to come together and celebrate the important people in our students’ lives.
Lunch Heating Reminder for Students
If your child is bringing lunch to be warmed in the pie warmer, please ensure it is sent in a small foil container or a small paper plate.
While we are located in the temporary school, we are limited to one fridge and one microwave. The staff room, where students’ lunches are stored for keeping cold or warming, is a very small space. At present, the microwave is reserved for staff use, as student use during this time significantly impacts staff members’ ability to have their lunch break.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we manage within these temporary facilities.
Student Morning Drop Off
To ensure student safety, please note that students should not arrive on campus before 8:50 am. Staff supervision begins at 8:50 am and continues until 9:00 am.
Students will be allowed to enter classrooms at 9:00 am. The only exception is on rainy days, when students will be sent inside earlier.
Precious Cargo
Last term, OneSchool Global launched Precious Cargo, a new global safety campaign for all volunteer bus drivers. The campaign includes a powerful safety film that highlights the responsibility our drivers carry every day and reinforces key expectations around seatbelts, fatigue, distractions, speed, and substances.
Our drivers play a vital role in keeping students safe, and this campaign supports them with clear, consistent safety standards across all 20 countries in our network.

For our students, please remember the important role that you play as a passenger on our buses.
Here are a few simple ways you can make a real difference:
Wear your seatbelt properly every time you’re on the bus
Stay seated while the bus is moving
Keep noise at a reasonable level so your driver can concentrate
Avoid distracting the driver – their focus keeps everyone safe
Look out for each other when getting on and off the bus
Student Uniform Expectations
All students should have received all their uniforms, and alterations made by now as we are expecting students to be wearing the correct full school uniform including; socks, ties, belts shoes and hair accessories for girls.
