Dear parents,
It has been a full and productive period across the campus, with strong engagement from students and staff in a range of learning experiences.
Our Year 8 Technology Race Day was a standout. Students travelled in from Nambour, Maroochydore and Toowoomba to join us, bringing great energy and a competitive edge to the day. The pace was impressive, and it was excellent to see creativity and problem-solving on display under pressure. Thank you to staff for the organisation and smooth running of the event, and congratulations to Marlia on the win.
Our Brisbane Student Leadership Team’s visit to the Sydney Campus was a clear success. They represented our campus with professionalism and maturity and made us proud. The way they approached the opportunity reflects the growth we are seeing in our student leaders, and we look forward to that continuing to translate into meaningful impact back on campus.
Across the primary years, students engaged in OSG Aware sessions, building their understanding of safe, respectful and responsible choices. It was also a pleasure to welcome families to our Primary Mini Museum - thank you to the many parents who came along to support and celebrate student learning.
As we move into an important phase of the term, our focus is firmly on academics. Assessments are being completed, reports are being compiled, and Year 7 - 10 exams will take place in Week 8. This is a time for students to show diligence, consistency and pride in their work, and to strive for excellence in all they do.
A reminder that, following direction from OSG Regional Leadership, student drivers are not permitted to transport other students, except for siblings, under any circumstances. We recognise this may require some adjustment for families and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring we meet this expectation.
Thank you for your continued support as students work through this important part of the term.
