Our students have been loving the opportunity to explore and enjoy our new library space! From diving into exciting new books to finding quiet corners to read and learn, the library has quickly become a favourite spot in the school. It’s been wonderful to see so many students showing enthusiasm for reading, sharing recommendations with friends, and taking pride in looking after this special new space. We can’t wait to see their love of reading continue to grow!

We’re excited to share that Brett Owen, Mayor of Cardinia Shire Council, will be visiting our campus!

During his visit, he will be speaking with students about the three levels of government, with a special focus on the important services provided by our local council, including waste collection, pet registration, community facilities, and infrastructure.

We’re really looking forward to this great learning opportunity and hearing from him!

Who claimed the victory? More importantly, who now holds the bragging rights? This is one match that will be talked about for a long time!

Today was the day for an epic showdown as teachers take on students in the ultimate game of volleyball!

With bragging rights well and truly up for grabs, both teams brought their energy, teamwork, and competitive spirit to the court. Spectators were treated to an exciting match filled with great rallies, plenty of laughs, and impressive skills on display.

Year 12 and Year 3 students recently came together for a valuable cross-age learning experience, working collaboratively to build and strengthen their computer skills. The session provided a wonderful opportunity for the older students to mentor and support their younger peers, while the Year 3 students developed confidence and new digital skills in a supportive environment. It was fantastic to see such positive teamwork, communication, and shared learning across year levels.

The Athletics Carnival is fast approaching and will take place this Monday! Our primary students have been hard at work in the lead-up, spending time developing and refining their skills across a range of events. A special highlight has been their dedication to mastering hurdles, with students showing great determination and improvement.

We look forward to an exciting day of participation, teamwork, and school spirit!

Next Tuesday, OneSchool Global will launch Precious Cargo, a new global safety campaign for all volunteer bus drivers across our school. This campaign centres on a powerful safety film that highlights the real risks our drivers face every day - fatigue, distractions, speed, seatbelts, and substances. The film will be screened via a global webinar at 7.30pm local time.

The film is confronting by design and reinforces the non‑negotiable expectations we hold for every driver, in every region. You can watch a preview of the film here.

We encourage all households to register for this important global webinar screening at 7:30pm Tuesday 24 March.

The webinar is mandatory viewing for all OSG bus drivers.
