Student recognition

Week 5 Achievements

During Week 5 we had our special Mid-Term Assembly, where we drew our Donut Reward Winners who were nominated by their peers for living the school values. Well done to Montana and Imogen who were recognised for their Care and Compassion. Congratulations also to Demi who was recognised for her Resilience, and Tasman who was recognised for his Teamwork.

In Week 5 our Students of The Week were Ronan and Hazel for demonstrating Diligence. Ronan's diligence was highlighted when he took responsibility for his learning and independently caught up on missed work. Hazel consistently demonstrates a diligent approach to her learning. She arrives prepared, stays organised, and manages her task effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard. Well done Ronan and Hazel!

In Week 5 Angeline, Charlie, Earl, Hazel and Reagan, alongside Louis, Isabella, and Jewel were all commended for their excellent Study Plans.

Well done everyone!

In Week 6 our Student of The Week Award sought out to highlight the students who truly live the OSG values. Congratulations to Ava and Reagan who were both recognised this week! Ava truly lives our values by always being supportive and showing genuine care and compassion to others. She helps create a kind and positive classroom environment. We are very proud of you, Ava — keep up the wonderful work! Well done to Reagan for consistently helping pack up the LC without being asked. He shows great care and responsibility for his learning environment. Thank you for being such a positive role model for our school Reagan!

Primary Incursion at Old Parliament House

On Friday March 6th, our Primary Students visited Old Parliament House in Canberra right here from our own Primary Learning Centre via a Zoom video call. Our students interacted with a very positive and engaging host who quizzed our students on some Australian History and shared interesting facts about the Old Parliament House.

Year 10 Geography Excursion to Geelong

This morning our Year 10 Geography Students took off to Geelong along with Year 10 Students from our other Victorian Campuses for a day out on Geelong Eastern beach! The purpose of this excursion was to allow students to complete their coastal change and management assignments. Their Geography Fieldtrip had them participating in a transect of the beach on arrival, followed by completion of a field sketch before a short break. After their morning break, students were sent on their first data collection activity before breaking for lunch on the beach. Following lunch, students completed their second data collection activity and regrouped to make the journey back home. All of the students enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day while engaging in the opportunity to socialise with their peers from other campuses and work collaboratively.

Recent Activities

In the last two weeks, our Secondary Students have treated us to a Pancake Recess, participated in some exciting Sports down at Bendigo's Lar Birpa Athletics Track, as well as some school-wide Sports on Campus with our Primaries. Our Secondary Students have also been taking on the Primaries at Recess and Lunch for some friendly Table Tennis games. Congratulations to the Secondary Students for completing their Table Tennis Championship and to Charlie on becoming OSG Bendigo's new Table Tennis Champion!

Certificate in III in Business: A Key Part of Year 10 at OSG

At OneSchool Global AU, all Year 10 students complete the Certificate III in Business as part of their curriculum. This qualification equips students with practical skills in administration, communication, and workplace technology - essential tools for success in senior study, part-time work, and future careers.

Completing the Certificate III in Business helps students develop confidence, organisation, and a professional mindset. It provides a real-world context for learning and gives every student a head start in understanding the business world.

We are proud to offer this program as a core part of Year 10, ensuring all students gain these valuable skills and are prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond. Students who complete all requirements will be awarded the national qualification - Certificate III in Business. Students who are only able to complete part of the qualification will still receive a statement of attainment, providing credit for the units they do achieve.

Your encouragement at home can make a real difference. We encourage parents to support their young person by discussing their learning, celebrating achievements, and encouraging them to apply the skills they are developing. Together, we can help every student succeed and make the most of this valuable qualification.
