Update From the Campus Principal Albury 2026 T3 W4
AI Unlocked
Congratulations to students in Years 8 to 11 who completed AI Unlocked on Friday 14 August. The behaviour, level of engagement and energy put into completing the course was outstanding and the staff are very proud of the students. In the coming weeks there will be an update on how AI will be incorporated into student learning.
MAP Testing
Round Two of MAP Testing will commence on Tuesday 18 August and be completed over three days in Periods 1 and 2 each day. Thank you to Mrs Burdon and Mrs Turner for preparing individual MAP goals. We will present our most recent data at the Winter Evening.
Winter Evening
The week has finally arrived and Winter Evening will be held on Thursday 20 August from 6:45pm. We are aiming for 100% attendance and will present regional and local data on how our campus is performing in academia, attendance, achievement and Persona scores. Light refreshments will be served from 6:45pm and there will be some prizes throughout the night for a bit of extra fun.
Year 12 Trial Exams
All the best to our Year 12 students who commence their Trial Exams on Monday 17 August. Students are not required to be on campus when they do not have an exam and, if driving, are not permitted to drive their peers. Full school uniform must be worn. Good luck Gianna, Montana, Reagen and Zachary.
OSG Aware Leeton
The second presentation of the OSG Aware for Year 7, 9 and 11 will be on Thursday 3 September in Leeton. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
Father's Day Breakfast
All dads and special guests are invited to the annual Father's Day Breakfast BBQ from 8am on Friday 4 September. Drive in, jump out and grab a complimentary egg and bacon role and coffee and enjoy celebrating all the great things Dads do for us.
Welcome Miss Natalie Mayberry
As mentioned previously in the newsletter, we welcome Miss Natalie Mayberry, who has commenced her employment with OneSchool Global Albury from Monday 17 August. Miss Mayberry will work Monday to Thursday in the role of Visual Teacher Support. We are currently in the process of interviewing potential a Teacher's Aide for three days a week to support Miss Mayberry in her role.
