Dear Parents,

The secondary toilets are now complete and ready for student use. I would like to thank our students for their patience while these upgrades were carried out.

It has been a busy couple of weeks, with excursions and the recent regional assembly. I commend our students for their excellent behaviour throughout these events and thank the staff who organised the excursions.

It was fantastic to see so many of our students recognised at the regional assembly for achieving Gold level in house points. Keep up the great work!

The Wagga campus proudly welcomed and hosted 70 students and staff from four campuses - Cowra, Leeton, Albury, and Condobolin. It was fantastic to see students from Years 3–6 come together to enjoy each other’s company while participating in a day full of hands-on mathematics activities.

Problem-solving, collaboration, and lateral thinking were strongly evident throughout the day, with students actively engaging in each challenge.

We also extend a big thank you to Mrs Georgia Urquhart for coordinating a delicious and nourishing morning tea and lunch. Both students and staff greatly appreciated the healthy menu, which also reinforced the important learning from our recent Mission Nutrition day at Leeton campus.

This week, students have been investigating maps, exploring the different types, their purposes, and how they function. We were fortunate to welcome Mr Holt and students from the Cowra Campus, which provided a wonderful opportunity for collaboration. During the lesson, students worked together to locate streets using a traditional Street Directory; an activity they thoroughly enjoyed, especially as it was a new experience for many. We also explored a range of maps, including local maps of Wagga Wagga, as well as train, ferry, and city centre maps. Students greatly enjoyed working alongside their Cowra peers and gained a deeper understanding of how technology has changed the way we navigate and use maps over time.

This morning the Primary choir preformed two of the songs they have been learning to their parents.
