Update from the Campus Principal

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support throughout the term.

Last Friday, our students participated in the Cluster Athletics Carnival in Griffith. It was a fantastic day, and we were fortunate to have great weather. The students all seemed to enjoy themselves, and we were proud to see several age champions among our group — congratulations to all who took part. A big thank‑you also to the parents who travelled over and supported the event.

This week, our Year 12 students completed their Preliminary exams. We hope they are feeling positive about their efforts and can enjoy a well‑earned break before beginning their HSC courses in early Term 2.

Recently, our staff revisited students’ MAP data to identify patterns and explore ways we can continue supporting each learner on their individual journey. We encourage parents to remind their children that they can book tutorials at school whenever they need extra consolidation or support.

Students also have access to IXL, an online learning platform aligned with their MAP levels across Reading, Language, and Mathematics. Regular use of IXL can help reinforce skills targeted to their current learning needs.

Secondary Toilets Upgrade

Over the term break, our secondary toilets will undergo an upgrade to meet OSG standards. We extend our thanks to Anthony Wallace for coordinating this project.

The work is expected to take approximately six weeks. As a result, the secondary toilets will be closed for the first three weeks of Term 2 to allow contractors safe access. During this time, secondary students will temporarily use the primary toilets.

We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding while these improvements are completed.

Have a lovely break

Regards,

Mr. Jason Marien

Mission Nutrition is coming to our campus

On 22 May, all students at OneSchool Global will take part in Mission Nutrition, a full day wellbeing event delivered across all campuses worldwide.

Mission Nutrition helps students understand how food and hydration support energy, focus, health, and learning. The day is interactive and age appropriate, with students working through guided activities led by their teachers.

This is not a normal school day. Students will take part in hands on learning designed to build practical skills they can use at school and at home.

To introduce the event and build excitement, we invite families to watch a short teaser video.
