Dear Parents,
It has been a genuine pleasure to welcome students and staff back to campus over the opening weeks of the 2026 academic year. The start to the year has been filled with energy, optimism and a strong sense of momentum. The excitement surrounding our new school buildings and the introduction of the new school uniform has been palpable across the campus, making for a memorable beginning to the year.
Since day one, we have enjoyed a strong and successful academic landing in our new facilities. The intuitive design of the learning spaces — purposefully aligned to the Learn-to-Learn pedagogy — has supported a seamless transition into teaching and learning. Combined with the hard work and unified approach of our teachers, along with the discipline and positive attitude of our students, this has resulted in a sound and confident start to the academic year. There is already a productive hum in the Learning Centres, and it is clear that students are embracing all that the new campus has to offer. The facilities are being well used and greatly appreciated, and students have shown pride and respect in how they are engaging with this exceptional environment.
As we move further into the term, we will be entering a period of academic launches, information sessions and learning-focused briefings across the campus. As is typical at the start of the year, a number of key academic campaigns and parent information opportunities will be taking place over the upcoming weeks. These are designed to ensure clarity of expectations, strong alignment between home and school, and a shared understanding of the academic journey for 2026.
We strongly encourage parents to attend sessions that are relevant to their children. These opportunities are intentionally short, focused and practical, and play an important role in ensuring that the partnership between parents and the school is well positioned for success in 2026. When parents, students and staff are aligned early in the year, students are best supported to take full ownership of their learning and to thrive within our self-directed learning environment.

Finally, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Campus Office Administrator, Ms Vanessa Perri, whom many parents will see at reception. Vanessa has made a wonderful start, and we are pleased to have her as part of the OSG Sydney team. A fuller introduction to Vanessa appears later in this newsletter.

Your partnership and support play a vital role in setting the tone for a successful year ahead.
