As we begin Term 3, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on what a wonderful way we finished last term.
Term 2 is often one of the busiest and most challenging terms of the school year, so it was wonderful to finish the term with such a fun and memorable end-of-term carnival.
A huge congratulations to our Student Leadership Team (SLT) and Emerging Leadership Team (ELT) for organising such a fantastic event. From teachers taking a turn in the dunk tank and balloon darts with surprise prizes to sack races, three-legged races, fairy floss and plenty of laughter, there was something for everyone to enjoy. More importantly, it was wonderful to see students and staff connecting, supporting one another, and celebrating everything we had achieved together throughout the term.
As we move into what is often called the "premiership quarter," Term 3 brings new opportunities to learn, grow and challenge ourselves.
I hope everyone enjoyed a well-earned break and has returned refreshed and ready for another rewarding term. I look forward to seeing our students continue to build on the strong foundations they've already established this year and to celebrating many more successes together in the weeks ahead.
AU Principal's Day 2026 - Perth Campus Celebration
As part of Principal Appreciation Day, the Perth Campus came together to celebrate and recognise the leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment of Mr Jarrod Kayler-Thomson and Mr Elliot Steffanoni.
Their leadership, encouragement, and commitment continue to shape the positive culture, high standards, and strong sense of belonging that define our campus. The care and support they show each day make a lasting difference to the learning environment and experiences of everyone across the campus.
A special thank you goes to our Student Leadership Team (SLT) for organising a wonderful celebration that brought the whole school together. From thoughtful surprises and messages of appreciation to creative displays and presentations, the whole school embraced the opportunity to express their gratitude and make the day truly memorable.
It was wonderful to see the entire campus come together to celebrate two leaders who make such a positive contribution to campus life.
The day served as a meaningful reminder to pause, reflect, and acknowledge the dedication and care they bring to their roles every day.
