Farewell and Thank You, Maria

This week we farewelled CSSA (Education Assistant), Maria, who left Australia to return to her home country, Ecuador.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the positive impact she has made as an CSSA (Education Assistant).

Maria has been a valued member of our school community, bringing a wonderful combination of professionalism, commitment, and enthusiasm to her role. Her dedication to supporting students and staff has been greatly appreciated, and her positive attitude and sense of fun have helped create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for everyone around her.

Throughout her time at OneSchool Global, Maria has consistently demonstrated care, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their best. Her contribution to our school has been significant, and she will be greatly missed by colleagues, students, and families alike.

We thank Maria for her hard work and dedication and wish her every success and happiness in the next chapter of her journey.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the Jump Rope for Heart Fundraising page and been involved in the program!

The Year 6s have the highest score across primary for Miss-a-Beat with 339 jumps.

So far, WA has collectively raised $28,647 with 2 more weeks to go!

The students have been loving the challenge of trying to beat class high scores for miss-a-beat during brain breaks and building their skipping skills during Morning Sport each Friday.

After 8 weeks of hard work, planning, sanding, painting, and engineering, our Perth year 8 students finally put their CO₂ cars to the test on race day.

Students worked hard to design and build the fastest car they could, applying their creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills throughout the project.

Congratulations to our top finishers:

🥈 Dimity Sharpe – 0.97 seconds
🥉 Pearl Trewarn – 1.12 seconds

Well done to everyone who participated. The effort, dedication, and perseverance shown by all students throughout the challenge was outstanding.

It was great to see their designs come to life and race down the track.
