Update from the Campus Principal

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take a moment to thank our entire school community for the energy, commitment and positivity shown throughout a busy term.

Our students have continued to demonstrate resilience, growth and a willingness to challenge themselves. It has been great to see students engaging in their learning, supporting one another and taking pride in their achievements.

I would like to acknowledge and thank our staff, who work tirelessly to support the learning and wellbeing of every student. Their dedication behind the scenes, in classrooms and across school events is what allows our students to thrive. We have been short staffed frequently this term and our team carry on with their work in a positive way.

In terms of staffing, we welcome a new Campus Office Administrator from the start of Term 2. Megan Shaw comes to us with an impressive background in administration, fresh off 8 years at the Bendigo Bank here in Nathalia. She will be a fantastic addition to the team. In welcoming a new COA, we welcome Ebony James back into Student Support. We thank Ebony for her commitment and dedication in being the Acting COA. I will also continue in the Campus Principal role in Term 2, with Primary looking to have a permanent Casual Relief Teacher for the term.

To our families, thank you for your ongoing support, partnership and encouragement, particularly during a term of lots of change. Your involvement and communication play a vital role in the success of our students and the strength of our school.

We are very much looking forward to our End of Term celebrations, which provide a fantastic opportunity to come together, and finish on a positive and joyful note. I strongly encourage as many people to attend and be part of this celebration.

As the holiday break approaches, I hope it provides everyone with an opportunity to rest, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready for the new term ahead.

Thank you once again for a successful term, and I wish you all a safe and enjoyable break.
