Update from Mrs Steele

The children had to create a healthy food idea for a food truck. They had to try to include as many food groups as we could. The class came up with some great ideas, and we made some of the recipes today. Judson chose muffins that contained no sugar, wholemeal flour, and bananas. Huntley made an apricot upside-down cake that was dairy, gluten and egg free. Sylvie and Ivy made Parza - square pizzas. Camie made blueberry pikelets and Sybelle made some fruit people! This was a very fun assignment, and we enjoyed sharing our creations.

We were lucky enough for the fire truck to stick around after their fire inspection and let us ask a lot of questions about their truck and the equipment on it. We then got to spray the hose!

Please can you provide a family photo for French. This can be a physical or digital copy emailed to myself.

Book week involves building a book in a jar. This is to be done at school. All children will need to begin to think about collecting resources to make a book of their choice and collecting an appropriate jar. The maximum size jar for the competition is 3L, dimensions 21cm (h) x 16cm (w). The school can provide one, if you don't have one. Please see book week flyer for more information.
