An Update from Mr Jandric
Recently, I have been reflecting on what it truly means to be valued.
At OneSchool Global, being valued means feeling respected, supported, trusted, and recognised for the unique contribution each person makes to helping students learn, grow, and succeed.
For students, being valued means feeling respected, included, supported, and appreciated by their peers, knowing that who they are and what they contribute matters to our school community.
Our values are closely connected to this idea of being valued and care-driven. It is always encouraging to see students demonstrating these values towards one another. When this happens, our classrooms, Learning Centres, and shared spaces develop a genuine sense of warmth, belonging, and connection.
This leads me to an important reflective question:
"Do my actions help others feel that they belong, are respected, and are important members of our school community?"
I believe this is a question for all of us, students, staff, and parents alike.
If we can genuinely answer this question with a "yes" and identify actions that support that answer, then we are helping to build a school where people feel valued and cared for.
On the other hand, if our response is filled with "however" and "but," it may be worth reflecting on whether our actions are contributing to the kind of school community we want to create.
Building a positive school culture is not simply about what we say we value. It is about the choices we make each day, the way we treat one another, and whether our actions help others feel seen, respected, and included.
Parents, I encourage you to take a moment to discuss this question with your child:
"Do my actions help others feel that they belong, are respected, and are important members of our school community?"
The conversations that follow may help us continue building a school where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected.
Together, we can create a community where every person knows they matter.
New Campus Support Team (CST)
As previously communicated, following a successful pilot program, our campus will be implementing a new volunteer structure known as the Campus Support Team (CST). This model replaces the previous Campus Board and Campus Administrator roles and forms part of a global initiative to simplify volunteer operations while strengthening community support.
I am confident this will be a positive change for our campus, helping to streamline volunteer roles, strengthen community engagement, and ensure consistent processes across all OneSchool campuses.
The process for raising concerns or providing feedback remains unchanged. Your first point of contact should always be your child's classroom teacher or Homeroom teacher. If you feel an issue remains unresolved, please reach out to me or a member of the Campus Support Team. Our Global Reporting Tool also remains available for your use.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our outgoing team members, Jerry Doven, Tim Rendell, Dean Coote, and Dale Seargent, for their commitment, service, and care for our campus community.
I would also like to warmly welcome the new Leeton Campus Support Team:

The CST will work closely with the campus leadership team to support our students, staff, and families. This transition commenced from Day 1 of the term, and we look forward to the positive contribution the team will make to our campus community.

MAP Testing – Round 2
MAP Testing will take place from 18 to 21 August.
Students will complete their assessments across the first three mornings, with Friday serving as a catch-up session for any students who are absent or require additional time.
We look forward to seeing the progress students have made since their first MAP assessment earlier this year and celebrating the growth they have achieved in their learning journey.
Campus Principal Appreciation Day
I would like to sincerely thank the Student Leadership Team and everyone involved in making Campus Principal Appreciation Day such a thoughtful occasion.
The kind words, and lunch were greatly appreciated. I am grateful to all staff, students, and families who supported the students in organising and delivering the event.
Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support. It was a wonderful reminder of the strong sense of community we have at our campus.
