Bonjour! From Primary
Visiting the primary classes at Berwick was a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the Year 3 students face-to-face and reconnecting with students from Years 4 to 6. We engaged in a range of fun and interactive activities, including a memory game and a “run and touch” game based on colours in French, which helped reinforce vocabulary in an active way.
Students practised their greetings confidently, using expressions such as “Bonjour, comment ça va ?” and “Comment tu t'appelles ?” with growing ease. A highlight of the visit was the Year 3 class, who surprised me with a fantastic performance of the French song “Frère Jacques.” Their enthusiasm and effort were truly delightful and made the experience especially memorable!

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea
Today the Year 12's hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
Almost 150,000 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every year. That’s 150,000 families who need practical information and support. Cancer nurses and trained volunteers on 13 11 20 help them understand treatment options, prepare for medical appointments, and organise legal and financial advice. All these services are made possible by all the donations received.
They raised an impressive $1,032.30.

Campus news
OSG Policy | Mobile Devices
As part of OSG procedures and our ongoing commitment to supporting students in meeting the ICT Agreement, a random bus and bag check was conducted last week. We were pleased with the overall outcome and the way students are consistently following current expectations.
During the checks, a small number of students were found to have brought either a mobile phone or a smartwatch to school. We are pleased to note that all devices were being managed appropriately—phones were only brought by students who had driven to campus, and smartwatches were set to safe modes.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind families that if a student needs to bring a mobile phone to school, prior notification is required. A single email is sufficient to cover an extended period if needed. Without this communication, the school is unable to anticipate which students will be in possession of devices on any given day.
In line with current procedures, students who bring a phone must hand it in to the front office upon arrival, where it will be securely stored until the end of the school day. Student drivers are also required to leave their car keys at the office for safekeeping.
We appreciate your support in maintaining these processes, which help ensure consistency with OSG policy and the effective supervision of student wellbeing.
If you have any questions or need to advise that your child will be bringing a phone to school, please contact admin.berwick@au.oneschoolglobal.com
Thank you for your continued cooperation.
