Update From the Campus Principal Albury 2026 T2 W6
Learning to Learn Tutorials
One very important element of the Learning to Learn Framework is the study and booking tutorials during this time. Recent Australia-wide data has revealed the Albury Campus students are by far the leaders in booking and attending tutorials as an average per student. This highlights strong study habits and commitment to learning. To celebrate this outstanding achievement all Secondary students will enjoy a pizza and ice cream lunch on Friday 12 June. This is truly an outstanding effort.
Albury Primary Learning Support
One very small change has been made to Learning Support in Primary. Currently, the classroom teacher oversees development, implementation and recording of accommodations in the classroom for all students. In addition to this, Ms Colombo will now oversee and manage administrative documentation and take on parent meetings and interventions that have been escalated by the classroom teacher for both Stage 2 and Stage 3. These changes should not impact the students as they are administrative changes, and the classroom teacher remains the first point of contact.
The Biggest Morning Tea
Congratulations to the Student Leadership Team for raising over $600 for the Cancer Council last Friday. The organisation, decorations and baking deserve applause. Thank you to all for supporting the fundraiser.
Winter Evening
Please ensure you have booked this event in your diary. Winter Evening will take place on Thursday 18 June at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served by the Food Technology students. The agenda will cover:
1. The Board will present campus academic trends and patterns;
2. Jess Fischer will present Learning Support structures at OSG; and
3. Parents will interview their students about the L2L framework and learning goals.
There will be some fun games and prizes on the night so please make sure this is noted in your diary.
