The Biggest Morning Tea
On Friday 29 May the Student Leadership Team will host the Biggest Morning Tea at 10:30 am. This event is part of a national initiative to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and support services, while also bringing our community together in a spirit of care and connection. More information will be shared via the parent chat in the coming days but please save the date.
Mission Nutrition
Mission accomplished! Across 122 campuses and over 7,700 students in one day, we saw a high-energy, full-day learning experience come to life, with students stepping into their roles, tackling challenges and applying their learning in real world contexts. This was not designed to be a traditional lesson day and we achieved that intent. Campuses generated strong momentum and excitement with high engagement across all age groups and clear ownership from staff. Students were active, involved, and fully immersed in the mission. Well done, Albury. The Mission Nutrition program will take place again in 2028.
Albury Winter Evening
The Albury Winter Evening will take place on Thursday 18 June at 7:00 pm. The agenda will include the Albury Board presenting our campus academic results and trends, Jess Fischer will provide context around learning support, and a final session will see parents interview their children (questions provided) to showcase their efforts, results, and goals for 2026.
Learning to Learn Reminder
The OSG Learning to Learn framework has been designed to prepare students to be life-ready. The framework is identical across all 122 campuses and 7,700 students. To ensure consistency within a 'OneSchool' context students are expected to adhere to established expectations and models of practice. Staff are specifically trained to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning is upheld at all times. For the most part, our students are excellent learners and perform very well academically, socially, and emotionally. Our intent is to ensure student learning is consistent, purposeful, and deeply embedded so that every student not only achieves but develops the discipline, independence and character required to thrive well beyond the classroom. Primary and Secondary Learning to Learn guidelines can be found here (Primary) and here (Secondary).
