End of Term

Term Two is always a busy term, with end of semester exams, school reports, Senior Learning Conversations, and assignment writing and submissions. However, we also made time to raise funds for The Biggest Morning Tea, attend swimming lessons, celebrate Mother's Day, enjoy a pizza and ice cream lunch to recognise our excellent tutorial attendance, travel to Wagga for World Maths Day, travel to Young for Activity Day, and Year 12 students completed their CPR training and Year 11 students participated in an excursion to Sydney. We welcomed a public holiday, a pupil free day and an unexpected electrical maintenance day that allowed us to work from home. As you can see, a busy term. We all deserve a well earned break. Enjoy the holidays and see you next term.

Persona Program

The 2026 Persona Program, OneSchool Global's annual feedback and development program, will kick off in July across OSG’s Southern Hemisphere campuses. The Persona Program is an important activity on the OSG calendar supporting staff to reflect on their practice, build on strengths and continue to grow. Please watch this video for more information.

Primary Classroom Update

Thank you to all parents who completed the Primary staff survey regarding Mrs Turner and Ms Colombo swapping cohorts for Semester Two. The feedback was largely supportive of this decision. Students will be informed of the change this week with the new arrangements commencing on the first day of Term Three. Staff will continue to keep parents informed and oversee the academic, social, and emotional needs of the students in their care to ensure a smooth transition.

Term Three Winter Evening

Please be aware that this event will take place early in Term Three. This is always a wonderful evening, and we look forward to organising the event and sharing further details with you.

New Staff Member – Miss Natalie Mayberry

Miss Natalie Mayberry will commence employment at OSG Albury in August. Miss Mayberry is a Vision Support Specialist and qualified teacher who will work at our campus four days per week. Her role this year will be to prepare resources, learning spaces and equipment which will support specialised vision support programs. In 2027, Miss Mayberry will be joined by a teacher’s aide to further support specialised teaching for students with vision impairment at our campus. We look forward to welcoming Miss Mayberry to the Albury team and sharing more information with families and students in the coming months.

Students had a great end to Term 2. Year 3/4 students published their narrative stories and information reports. The Year 5/6 students worked very hard at submitting their NRMA project and should be very proud of this achievement.

Stage 2 then enjoyed their Activity Day on campus, participating in an Amazing Race. The Stage 3 students travelled to Young with the Secondary to join in on Activity Day with other campuses.
