Athletics Carnival

On Friday 27 March, in the cold, wet and dark, staff and students boarded the coach bound for Griffith. The drive through rain and cloud had us wondering what kind of weather awaited us. But Griffith delivered, parting the clouds just in time so every event could go ahead. A huge well done to our Albury students who threw themselves into each event with impressive sporting prowess and genuine enthusiasm. Your energy made the day. Congratulations to Fletcher Stead (Year 4), Reiner Hocking (Year 8), Montana Allpress (Year 12) and Reagen Harris (Year 12), who all won champion for their year groups. Further congratulations to Montana Allpress who won the girls' golden slipper 100m race. A big thank you to the Leeton campus for organising the carnival, feeding us, and setting up the grounds. By the end of the day, the ride home was noticeably quieter, with tired staff and students reflecting on a successful and memorable carnival. Well done, everyone! Photos below.

Term One Reflection

Term One has been a successful start to the year, though it has certainly come with its challenges. We have asked a lot of our students in terms of lifting standards and taking ownership of their learning. Despite this, as we conclude the term, I am pleased to say that it has been a productive period marked by personal growth across academics, attitude, and behaviour. As we head into Term Two, please continue to encourage students to strengthen the foundational skills of learning: organisation, punctuality, resilience, and a willingness to engage. These core habits set them up for continued success throughout the year.

School Hats

School hats are not compulsory during Term Two and Term Three. However, if a student wishes to wear a hat, they may wear any OSG‑branded hat available in the uniform catalogue. In Term Four, the compulsory wearing of the bucket hat will resume.

Winter Evening

The Albury Winter Evening will be held in Term Two with the confirmed date to be announced early next term. This year, our Board members will present our academic results and projection goals for 2026, and students will participate in a one‑on‑one interview style session with their parents to discuss individual progress and learning goals.

Mission Nutrition is coming to our campus

On 22 May, all students at OneSchool Global will take part in Mission Nutrition, a full day wellbeing event delivered across all campuses worldwide.

Mission Nutrition helps students understand how food and hydration support energy, focus, health, and learning. The day is interactive and age appropriate, with students working through guided activities led by their teachers.

This is not a normal school day. Students will take part in hands on learning designed to build practical skills they can use at school and at home.

To introduce the event and build excitement, we invite families to watch a short teaser video.

More information will be shared with families in May, including what students will experience on the day.

Mission Nutrition is part of OneSchool Global’s focus on student wellbeing and life skills learning.
