OSG Adelaide 2026 Sports Day

OSG Adelaide’s 2026 Sports Day, held on Tuesday 5 May, was a fantastic celebration of participation, teamwork, and school spirit. It was wonderful to see such enthusiastic student involvement across all events, complemented by the strong support of our parent community on the day.

Students approached each activity with energy and determination, proudly giving their best throughout the day.

I would like to sincerely acknowledge Mr Alex Garlick for his excellent organisation and leadership in delivering such a successful event. My thanks also extend to our dedicated staff and parent helpers who generously gave their time and support to ensure the day ran smoothly.

Sports Day 2026 was a true reflection of our school values and the strong sense of partnership within our community. The encouragement, support, and engagement from our families made the day both memorable and enjoyable for all.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Sports Day such a success.

Wishing all Mother's a Fantastic Mothers Day!

This term, the Primary students have been learning all about changing states of matter! To explore matter and its various states, we had lots of fun making Oobleck! Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid that turns 'solid' when a force is quickly enacted upon it. This means that, although it is a liquid, if we hit it or grab it quickly, it will feel solid! We thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with our Oobleck and exploring how force affects the way matter behaves.

We are delighted to share some wonderful news recognising the achievements of Jodi Gordon.

Jodi Gordon has been recognised in the Outstanding Leadership category of the National Education Summit Teacher Awards and has been named as one of three national finalists. This is a significant and well‑deserved achievement, reflecting Jodi’s exceptional leadership and impact at the Adelaide Campus.

As a finalist, Jodi has been invited to attend the National Education Summit Brisbane 2026, to be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 May.

This is a wonderful reflection of the strength of leadership across our region. Please join me in congratulating Jodi on this outstanding achievement.

I’m really pleased to share some fantastic news with you.

Ellen Lewis (Perth Primary) and Brooke Schofield (Adelaide Primary) have both been named in the 2026 Educator’s Rising Star list, recognising them as two of Australia’s Top 40 teachers under 35.

This is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of the impact they are having with students and within our campuses. It’s also great to see OneSchool Global recognised more broadly, with our organisation placing in the Top 30 schools nationally.
